and the Clinton Campaign. Loans have to be paid back, which means that she will have to subtract 5 million from her fundraising totals to use it for loan repayment rather than on adverstising, paying her staff, etc.

Did Senator Clinton charge her campaign interest on that loan, and at what rate? How much more of her campaign donors' money will go into her personal account in the form of interest payments? What are the terms of repayment, and over what amount of time? Will she wait years to recover that 5 million plus interest. Could that loan, over the long haul, net her twice what she loaned her campaign? Or are there different rules governing these types of loans?

It would be interesting to know these things.

4. I imagine that she's charging herself 0% interest
I suppose she'd tell us if we asked nicely.

5. Thing is, she actually didn't make the loan to herself...
she made it to her campaign. There is, therefore, an incentive to charge interest.

6. No, they do not - A candidate who takes a personal loan for a campaign has to repay it.
but the campaign does not have to repay a loan from its candidate.

9. What the hell is wrong with asking this question...
being as how I haven't voted for either one of them, I can assure you that I would be asking the same question had Obama done this...or Edwards, or McCain, or anyone else.

This is a legitimate and quite relevant question.

12. It implies that she is trying to make money off her campaign
At least that's how I read it.

10. As a Clinton donor, it makes zero difference to me.
I gave to support the campaign. I'm not interested in micromanaging the finances.

13. I laugh at the hypocrites within the obama supporters on this
forum. Kerry's loan was such a good move to help his campaign, but when HRC does it, oh so bad...
I know for sure we HRC supporters will have the last laugh when after June 3rd HRC heads into the convention with the delegate lead and yo boy obama is sucking hind teat....obama will go in second and come out second....wait......you obama folks will have something to look forward toooo...uh huh the second coming

Shalom
Ben

14. Number 1, I'm not an Obama boy, and #2 I find it offensive that
you would talk to me like that and then wish me "Shalom."

Peace.

15. And I would like to know the source of the funds.
She will not release her income tax returns so we could find out how she is making her money.

So we will just have to guess.
