If you supported Howard Dean in 2004, who is getting your vote in this year's primary?

1. Everyone who was around back then can remember I backed Dean.
Now I support Hillary. This is a different time.

2. You know she and Bill got Wes Clark in the race to kneecap Dean don't you?
They did all they could to make sure Howard didn't win.

Don't know how you got over that...I sure didn't.

7. It hurt too much for me. I think I gave almost a couple thousand.
And a lot of my time.

I just didn't understand what business it was of theirs. I still think they didn't want a Dem to win the '04 election because they knew it would torpedo Hillary's chances to run for Prez in 08. Ever since then I've viewed them with a leery eye.

3. I don't understand how a Dean supporter could back Clinton
After the way the DLC "assassinated" him.

9. Former Dean Texas Ranger here
Edited on Fri Feb-08-08 03:23 AM by WatchWhatISay
My daughter and I both made the trip in September of 2003.

Now I am committed to Obama, though I am not a Hillary hater. I can hardly stand reading DU lately. Trolls with nothing constructive going on in their slimepit.

10. I was a Dean backer 4 years ago

and still am. I hoped Al Gore would jump in this time. When it became apparent that wasn't going to happen, I supported John Edwards. Next Tuesday I will vote for Obama in the Virginia primary. I believe he has a better chance of beating McCain come November. Also I think Dean is doing a great job rebuilding the party infrastructure nationwide (50 state strategy). If Clinton gets the nomination, Dean will be deposed as Chairman and replaced with a DLC toadie. Clinton would be a far better candidate if she would jettison some of the people around her like Terry McAuliffe and Mark Penn
