2. Maine caucus Sunday
I haven't seen any polls, but my gut feeling is that Obama will win by a fair margin.

10. I think Obama will win Maine
Number one, they're caucuses and he does well in caucus states.

Number two, the buzz is strong here for Obama. More ads, more calls, more people on the ground.

3. Louisiana and, frankly, I have no idea.

I believe it is a closed primary, but the SOS and our Parish leaders are pugs. NOLA might still be honest dems. I don't remember. I don't exactly trust their mayor, so who the hell knows what's going on down there, unless it's the wonderful John Edwards. Over 60 delegates at stake. I seem to remember the number 67, but honestly, that sounds high. If you need more info, go to the LA forum or the State of Louisiana.org. I will go and vote for Hillary as will most of my extended family. Exception being some yuppies I love very much, but who do not read a lot.

5. BO is supposed to win all 3 states this week. Then Hillary takes the
2 (I think) states the next time. I read it on CBS.

7. I think Obama is favored, but ya' never know.
You've got the Louisiana primary, Nebraska caucus, Washington caucus and Virgin Islands primary. All these states should favor Obama, but anything can happen.

9. The Virgin Islands are 70% black and only like 15% white.
It's very possible he takes all the states Saturday and Tuesday.

12. I lived there for 2 years.
It was an interesting experience - I was a minority for the first time in my life. I learned a lot.

11. Caucus in Nebraska on Saturday.. 25 Delegates up for grabs.
Obama had a huge rally in Omaha yesterday (about 10,000), and his wife is heading to the college town of Lincoln (GO HUSKERS!) this afternoon.

I'd say he has a pretty good shot at winning. Hillary never came to the state to speak (well, I think she did back in the fall sometime when Warren Buffet threw a $2,300 a plate fundraiser dinner for her). She's sending Chelsea to Lincoln this afternoon to talk as well. Not to impressive.. NE is important enough for Barack & Michelle to make an appearance, but not important enough for Bill or Hillary to show up. That's fine.. i guess with TX and OH, she doesn't need our delegates all that badly.
