The right wing is playing games again.
This whole thing about a lot of right wingers refusing to support McCain is just a ploy IMO. By appearing to oppose McCain they want to make it look like McCain is a moderate so he can get more votes from moderates in the general election. After all, if the right wing nut jobs oppose McCain then he must not be so bad, right? But most right wingers know that McCain is really just as right wing as Bush is and maybe even more than Bush is. Even Bush doesn't say that we should stay in Iraq for another 100 years.

So they will play this game knowing full well that when it comes right down to it they will all trudge to the polls like sheep and fall in line behind McCain, especially if he picks Hickabee as his running mate.

I hope that nobody falls for this bullshit.

2. Limpballs wants to raise cash for Clinton..............its all a ploy
http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Limbaugh_wants_to_raise_cash_for_0207.html

<snip>
Don't be mistaken: There's been no sudden change of heart on Limbaugh's part toward the woman who's been among his favorite targets for scorn over the last 15 years. Limbaugh is operating under the assumption that the Republican party -- now represented by presumptive nominee John McCain -- would have a better chance of retaining the White House if anti-Hillary fervor drives GOP voters to the polls in November.

"The reason I'm raising money for Hillary is because, apparently, my party, the Republican party, is relying on fear and loathing of Hillary to unite the party," Limbaugh said.

3. you give them too much credit.
the talk show hosts thought that they could anoint romney and went all in. now they're in full spin and diversion mode trying to maintain their listenership. their power is greatly diminished, but the anti-mccain sentiment is real among those who are still subject to their influence.

5. He pretty much is a moderate
He almost defected to the Dems a few years ago. As far as I'm concerned he is just right of center.

7. But he has moved to the right on immigration issues.
McCain said that now he won't even consider comprehensive immigration reform until after the border is "secured," and we know that the border will never be secured, at least not the way the righties want it to be.
