U.S. Rep. Norm Dicks Endorses Clinton
U.S. Rep. Norm Dicks, D-Belfair, who for months held out for Al Gore to enter the Democratic presidential race, is backing U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., Dicks' chief of staff George Behan said today.

Behan said the congressman told the senator that when she stumps in Tacoma on Friday, she should tell the audience that he is backing her campaign.

The endorsement makes it a sweep for Clinton in the two Kitsap County congressional districts. U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee, D-Bainbridge Island, has been a Clinton backer for months, campaigning for her in the early Iowa and New Hampshire contests.

Clinton will campaign in Washington tonight and Friday. Her rival in the Democratic party, U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., will campaign in

4. I've just read that Gov Gregoire may well be endorsing Hillary very soon tonight.

What possibly could have pulled Hillary so quickly up to washington state.

She's said she will announce her endorsement before the caucuses on Saturday. Hillary Clinton, who was not previously scheduled to come to Washington, changed her schedule at the last minute yesterday and is now showing up for a rally on the Seattle waterfront this evening.

7. Maybe she has a chance to win the caucus?
It's nice to see her getting these endorsements.

17. And maybe it will be 85 degrees on Caucus day so we can all get a great tan
But I'm not betting on either.

9. It seems like we have a great comparison state here
In Washington state, it appears that the HRC machine has every possible endorsement and politic backing her. It should be a shoo-in for her. Let's see how everyone does.

13. Not a fucking chance.
Norm Dicks's district has all the military bases in it. War keeps him in business, Hillary keeps the war going. This isn't really surprising.

18. I'm on your side
In other words, if HRC cannot pull this off, this is bigger than the "He had all the celebrities working for him in Cali" bs threads I heard earlier this week.

16. No need for that.
Norm's been around for a while. He's heard all the jokes, and so has everyone else in the state.
