OMG - my freeper coworker whom I'm always complaining about
I just found out - HE'S A REGISTERED DEM - AND - HE VOTED FOR BIDEN in the primary because he didn't want to vote for any of the people who might actually get the nom. Sorry - just had to post that. I wanted Biden to get the nom, but since he dropped out, I was surprised to see that he actually still took 3% of the vote here in Delaware. I was wondering who those 600+ people were who voted for him. Now I know.

1. On a slightly different note,
this is a good reason for not having open primaries. As I recall, Republicans crossed over in Georgia to defeat Cynthia McKinney in a primary several election cycles ago. While having open primaries does open up the party to a certain extent, it also makes the process vulnerable to manipulation by the opposing party, and allows them to help select a candidate they think will be easy to beat.
