Henceforth, Let's Recognize Hillary Supporters As "The Zombies".

It seems no matter how many times Obama's policies are presented, when Hillary supporters witness the way Obama's speeches inspire people and get them motivated to join up to change the political landscape, they mistakenly think "Cult".

Apparently for Hillary supporters, politics are to be practiced by boring politicians droning away as they recite their policies to a somnolent crowd. No enthusiasm allowed.

Like a pack of Zombies, Hillary supporters seem afraid of stirring emotion. This isn't Stoicism. It's like they're on a high dose of Prozac or something. They've had the emotional centers of their personality frozen.

Proof?

How else can so many people who claim to be against the horrors of the Iraq War support a woman who voted for it and is unable to just say she made a mistake?

A woman who likes to say she's the most competent candidate but who failed to read all the information available before voting to go to war.
A woman who touts herself intelligent yet thinks that "Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002" does NOT mean invading Iraq.
A woman who was all for labeling Iran's military terrorists, thereby giving Bush yet ANOTHER go-signal in his aggression?

More proof Hillary Zombies have no emotional core left?

These people call themselves Democrats and yet they are supporting a DLC candidate who does NOT believe in the 50 State Strategy and wants the Democratic Party to remain a small, ineffective regional force that can't fight back against the GOP Machine and Election Fraud.

Clintons are known for thinking the best way to rule a populace is keep them divided evenly with only the smallest of majorities flipping back and forth so nothing ever REALLY changes for good.

Yet Hillary Zombies say they want Change.

Yes, the cognitive dissonance was so loud for those following Hillary, it must have numbed their larger brain centers. Becoming a Zombie was the only way to bear the pain.

The real irony here is the same Zombies who flock to Hillary probably attacked John Kerry last time HE ran as being a bore.

and vice versa. The mindlessness of some of the posts by supporters of both candidates is stunning. I recently made up my mind to vote for Obama on Tuesday (Virginia primary). But its not because of anything I've ever seen about him here on DU --- its despite it. And if he doesn't get the nomination, and HRC does, then I will support her every bit as vigorously (and to the same maximum allowable financial limit) as I would support Obama in the GE. Again, not because of anything I've seen about HRC here on DU from her supporters, but despite a lot of what I've seen.

That term is widely used at DU. I think it is used more than the simple descriptive phrase "Hillary Suporters".

Back in 2004 there were nicknames for Candidate supporter groups also, but the predominate ones (there were minority exceptions of course) were value nuetral; Deanies, Clarkies, Kerryites, Edwardians, etc. This year it started hard and early with supporters of Hillary Clinton routinely called 'bots.

It is only a very small minority of Clinton supporters who refer to Obama supporters in any way as cultists, and I strongly oppose that practice. But the robot meme against Hillary Clinton supporters is very well rooted in the Obama camp. Can we be robots and zombies at the same time?
