will you vote for the winner in the general election?

1. Having a hard time saying. I always thought I would vote for whoever got the nomination.
More recently I've started to question that.

4. I'd say the Hillary supporters would vote overwhelmingly.....

yes, they would support Obama in the election. I can't say that about the Obama supporters though. They seem to have a "my hero or no one" attitude (not all, but quite a few).

Obama has brought a lot of young, political neophytes into the electoral process and that's a GOOD thing. But I'm concerned that, if their man doesn't get the nomination, they'll just sit it out and not vote at all.

From what I've seen on the pages of DU lately this seems like a definite possibility.

6. Agreed - and I'm one of those
I didn't start out as an Obama supporter, I just gravitated there naturally because the more I learned about him the more I liked him. However, I don't have an attachment to him that would preclude me from voting for anyone else in the general election. Quite simply, I cannot trust anything that Hillary Clinton says or promises. I would have a very, very hard time voting for her or getting involved in her campaign. I don't have any faith that she can unite this country or even have a chance of getting any of her platform proposals implemented. I am also not too fond of a political dynasty, which is something that our founding fathers tried hard to avoid for obvious reasons. I believe Obama is the right person at the right time and can be a strong leader to help guide this country out of this mess that we are currently in. I am not 100% in lockstep with all of his positions, but they are closer to my own than Hillary's and I feel confident that his plans are based on reality rather than political expediency.

The only way I would vote for Hillary is solely based on the SCOTUS. We'll see how this plays out before I make a definitive decision.

5. Is this part of a polling trend?
See how everyone answers at certain periods of the day every day? Zogby already does that sort of thing.

7. Voting "No" = President John McCain
Which means President Huckabee in 2010 or 2011. This needs to be repeated: ANY Dem is light years better than ANY 'puke.

If you WANT more USSC justices like Scalia & Alito, don't support the Democratic nominee.

If you WANT a new war with Iran, don't support the Democratic nominee.

If you WANT the Federal govt to run up so much debt that your great-grandchildren will still be paying it off, don't support the Democratic nominee.

If you WANT America to be openly sanctioned by the Western Democracies for human rights abuses, don't support the Democratic nominee.

If you WANT gays, Muslims, Mexicans and any other minority the RW needs you to fear to be hunted down & murdered in the streets, don't support the Democratic nominee.

If you WANT less Constitution and more corporate fascism, don't support the Democratic nominee.

The choice is simple: Vote for the Democratic candidate or allow America to move deeper into the abyss.
