Florida and Michigan delegate solution
divide the delegates evenly among the 3 surviving candidates and seat them (Clinton, Gravel and Obama).
Problem solved. :woohoo:
Both states get a voice and nobody gets an advantage over delegates that were not supposed to be counted in the first place.

1. Why not Walken? He should totally get a cut too.
This will only enhance my masterplan of seeing Gary Hart drafted from the convention floor.

2. I'm sure Gravel would love that solution
The only solution that truly enfranchises voters is to set a date for the caucuses/primaries to sometime in the near future and have a do-over with everyone on the ballots and free to campaign in the states.

Anything else is undemocratic.

7. I would not seat the super delegates from those states
But seat the rest.

That would encourage the states to follow the rules because those super delegates are the ones involved in pushing for early primaries. Or at least they could had discouraged the state lawmakers.

9. Bull people didn't vote for the other candidate THEY VOTED FOR HILLARY..
And because the other candidate is now moaning about the fact that Hillary has more + delegates they should change the law that has been in effect for over 100 years and do away with the super delegates that Hillary has accrued.
Whining and moaning the widdle piddle boy is again pouting.

11. As usual, you are clueless.
There was no such thing as a "superdelegate" until 1972. Same with the primary system as we now know it. So there is absolutely NOTHING in play here that "has been in effect for over 100 years".

13. As a voter in MI, I do not think
that anyone should get the MI delegates. We had 2 choices, uncommitted or HRC. By the rules as I understood them, the other candidates backed off to 'play by the rules.' She didn't and decided to stay on the ballot.....so why should she gain from breaking the rules? Oh, silly me, I forgot - she's entitled becuase of her last name. Screw the little people again.

If my delegates to the convention are 'forced' to support her, then this 'system' we call a primary and a democracy are screwed.

It's bad enough here in this stupid state you have to declare your party and ask for a party ballot. Most of the time, you can't even cross party lines, even if the guy is more qualified. yeah, I know, they don't know where you put the 'x' next to the name, but still what party I vote for is MY business, not someone elses...but then this IS Michigan and nothing in this state surprises me anymore.

21. there was absolutely no rule
that required candidates to take their names off the ballot.

Some of them did so to suck up to Iowa and New Hampshire voters, but it was entirely their choice.

17. That serves no purpose and does not give them a "voice".
MI should be re-done. Florida should be seated - everyone was on the ballot and no one (except for Obama) campaigned there.

19. They can have a re-vote , but splitting the delegates equally does NOT give
anyone a voice... 'cuz that ain't what they said.

20. I would be ok with a revote when ALL of the candidates are aware that the
vote isn't for entertainment purposes only..
I think it was a stupid decision by the dlc in the first place to not seat the delegates.
So I would be good with an Honest re-vote
