Dennis J. Kucinich Day in Alice, Texas

Dennis J. Kucinich Day in Alice, Texas

Congressman in Alabama today after a tour of South Texas

March 7, 2004

Yesterday in Alice, Texas, Mayor Grace Saenz Lopez handed Kucinich a key to the city and proclaimed Saturday as Dennis J. Kucinich Day. Dennis spoke in Spanish with the people of Alice, discussing his platform on amnesty for undocumented immigrants, universal health care, veterans' services, environmental protection and bilingual education to connect and celebrate cultures within the nation. Dennis also made stops in the South Texas towns of Hidalgo, Edinburg, Elsa and Corpus Christi.

4. Oh, that story of the family with only one photo of their son made me cry.
That photo was the only one they had for his casket...

and we are doing this AGAIN.... Oh, why, oh, why, couldn't this man be our President??

Heart breaking
