I don't even attempt to read the board when the Hide Thread feature goes off. When there are 50 people who think every thought that pops into their head deserves its own thread, why read the board? Most of it was gibberish, any way.

I wait until the dust settles and the Hide Thread feature returns. Then it's easier to see whether anyone has said anything worthy of discussion, since 90% of the threads won't be worthy of opening just based upon their topic titles.
