Please, let's all remember that the media are owned by a very few, Republican media moguls. They are pumping up for Obama because if they pumped up for Clinton (when she was the acknowledged front-runner) who would care? The Clintonites were confident. The Obamites would have been sad to watch if it were all-Clinton all the time. Secondly, I believe strongly that they will support Obama as long as possible, and if he is the nominee, they will switch strongly to McCain, and it will be all McCain all the time in the fall. It's a win-win: support Obama, gets LOADS of advertising dollars (CNN in particular has benefited from the fervor with the debate advertising), and guarantee a McCain win.

We do not have an unbiased media which serves as any kind of check on the political process anymore.
