Doc to Leftist Patient Coming Out of Coma: I've Got Good News & Bad News
A little humor for the GD2004 Primary Forum:

On November 3rd of 2004, an argumentative and proud socialist homosexual (not too much different than yours truly, if you need an image to work with) comes out of a long coma which he'd slipped into just as the year had begun back in January.

His doctor leans over his bed and tells him, I've got some good news and bad news for you.

The cynical leftist growls, "Give the bad news first".

The Doctor replies:

The bad news for you is that John Kerry won the Democratic Party's Nomination while you were out cold. I've been worried about how to break that news to you since you were so angry with him last year about his voting for the Patriot Act and the Iraqi War Resolution. But in any event, Kerry won. You must face this now that you are back with us again.

The patient visibly concerned then barked, "Good grief! So what's your good news, doctor?"

The doctor replied, "George Bush was defeated in yesterday's election by John Kerry".

The patient, looking at the sunlight pouring in through the hospital windows then broke out with a large smile and said, "Well, you know, Doctor, I always did like John Kerry."

2. Poor ol Kerry: From liberal icon to pariah to great white hope in one term
And that will be child's play compared to what he'll face from the Republicans if he wins.

everybody here will be whining about how their candidate would have won if only everyone else had been smart enough to nomination them...

20. I just got done commenting as such in another thread!
It will be because someone who couldn't win individual state primaries was the only one that could POSSIBLY win the general election .... logic I have never understood ....
