The Bush attack on Kerry makes no sense at all.
Edited on Fri Mar-05-04 01:12 AM by LeviathanCrumbling
He is trying to say that Kerry flip flops, but then he is also saying that for 20 years Kerry has been constantly one of the most liberal senators.

This is some crazy double speak, how do the GOP voters swallow this this self contradictory campaign.

1. Bush also claims Kerry is an elite child of privilege
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

2. And it's a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black...holy crap...
Chimpy himself has done a 180 on many of his previously stated positions (nation-building, not using 9/11 for political gain, leaving gay marriage issue up to the states, etc.) so he really is stepping on his own dick here...

10. i've said this before...
when Gov Richards was known to have attended AA, it never stopped rove from making her out to be a drunk.

They dont care about the whole pot/kettle issue... they're more than happy to call you black and damn the consequences. if you let them use this tactic to frame the debate, you'll always be behind the ball.

Dont respond - attack in kind. It makes for a race of mud - but that's what American politics has become.

4. Depends - are his ads designed to appeal to swing voters or just to
rally his base? It it's just to sing to his own choir then his ads nor any of his positions have to make sense or even be rationial. Most of his shit has never even been true and they have swallowed it lock, stock, and barrel.

5. They are GOP voters.
As a result, they will swallow anything spewed out by their leadership and talking heads.

6. They are the masters of deception and lies.
The REPUKES can morph any lie to appear truth like to the masses. The GOP is worse than a 10 dollar whore trying to dope feen a nun. They are pure EVIL. Despicable whores of money and power. Just today, I heard Rep (Puke Party) J. Foley Fl, attempt to spin the Aristide Bush/Powell Coup to try and convince the Pacifica listeners. With his calm, yet decisive voice, Barnard bitch slapped his lies wide open. You could hear him give a slight chuckle when Foley fucked up and admitted Aristide was co horsed to leave Haiti.

7. He doesn't have to make sense. He just has to keep saying it.
With the backing of the media scum on FOX, CNN and MSNBC (and NPR) the general voting population will contain a certain percentage that will beleive him no matter what he says.

8. A little harsh to put NPR with them
Perhaps they don't stand up as much as they should, but they don't just spout GOP bullshit like the rest.

9. NPR CNN and NW
I have to stand in partial defense, CNN, while they have a problem with being a bit too quick at times to pick up an unresearched story and ignore others does at least show a better picture than Faux News. NPR also has put some good zingers in there but you can tell they also are being controlled. So far the closest to 'neutral' news has been NWI - News World International - where they air the German, BBC, Japanese, Mexican and Canadian news for anyone to watch, it helps create a much better knowledge base.

Personally, I think that the only way there will ever be a truly 'neutral and unbiased' news service would be if it was paid for only by the viewers like HBO, and face it, even then it could still be highly slanted by the owners.
