Poll question: Is my primary vote at all important?
I live in Oregon, our primary with Kentucky on May 20th. Only Montana, South Dakota, and Puerto Rico vote after us. Puerto Rico's delegation is bigger than Oregon's. Of the 3253 non-superdelegates, only 225 will be left, with Oregon having 62.

Is it likely that primary vote will be important?

2. Yes
>All< our votes will be important. One of the campaigns has spoken dismissively about certain states votes not mattering, but it's untrue. Delegates are doled about in proportion, and if the convention is close every single delegate counts. Whether you're voting for Obama, Clinton, or anyone else, your vote counts.

4. Any local primaries?
Anybodies vote carries more weight at the local level anyway.

5. Ours is May 6th. I know how you feel.
Usually it's a done deal before then. But we do have a governor's race and a
senate seat to decide. I bet you have some state races that are worth your attention. :)

6. Not for the POTUS.
We are also deciding on a Democrat to unseat Smith in November, though, so the rest of your votes are important!

My vote wouldn't have counted, anyway, as it won't go to either of the two people left on the ballot and will have to be written in.
