Is Grossman actively working for the Kerry campaign now?
I gather he does a job on Dean on some station....CNNfi, I think.

Just wondering. Why must they do this if Dean is not running?

2. Is he with them now? CNN interviews him to judge Dean?
Is he working for the Kerry campaign right now?

SNIP..."Howard Dean's former campaign chairman, Steve Grossman, who defected from the campaign before Dean's defeat Tuesday in the Wisconsin primary, has thrown his support behind Sen. John Kerry, and predicted that Kerry "will be able to count on Jewish support, perhaps overwhelmingly," if he wins the nomination as is widely projected...."
SNIP....""On the issue of the Middle East and the US-Israel relationship specifically, I think the American Jewish community can feel entirely comfortable with John Kerry," Grossman told The Jerusalem Post in a telephone interview on Wednesday....."

Thanks, I just answered part of my own question.

SNIP..."Grossman has yet to speak to Kerry about what role he might have in the campaign, though Kerry told CNN on Tuesday that people in his campaign had already chatted with him. Democratic analysts said Grossman would have no trouble finding a home in the front-runner's campaign, despite Grossman's support for Kerry's rival, and the fact that Kerry did not endorse Grossman when he ran for governor of Massachusetts in 2002....."

It was the Tuesday before Wisconsin. Is he with the campaign now? He is being interviewed as a spokesman against Dean. Is that necessary.

11. More. Not that it matters now.

"In the end, Dean chose to suspend campaigning, but kept his name on future primary ballots.

Grossman and others worried that Dean would be a distraction, and hurt efforts of the Democratic Party to rally around Kerry...."

4. I never read anything saying that the campaign hired him in any way.
Just reports that he quit the Dean campaign.

8. I know the Kerry campaign talked with him when he was with Dean.
I am just trying to find out if he is working with them now. He left the night before Wisconsin....excellent timing. Dean did not even have the anger to be mad at him....how ironic.

9. Precisely, he is not working for the Kerry campaign in any way
that I know of. He quit the Dean campaign, and the Kerry campaign did not hire him.

Just like Joe Trippi.

7. Thanks, I might.
I am trying to wrap my head around what is being gained by all this Dean bashing after he is no longer a threat.

10. Well, you'll have to ask Steve Grossman why he does what he does.
Edited on Thu Mar-04-04 08:50 PM by Feanorcurufinwe
What did he do again, exactly? Was he interviewed on CNNfi and he said something you didn't like? What was the question and what was his answer? Or was it not an interview? In short, what exactly happened?
