Why does Hillary need an ad buy for Arkansas?
Shouldn't her home state should be in the bag by now?

2. Since she hasn't lived in Arkansas in 15 years, it would be crazy for her NOT to run an ad there
Besides, I'll bet that Obama is going to run ads in Illinois . . .

So, what's your point?

Is Hawaii's most famous private school graduate taking his home state for granted?

11. Everyone knows it's not winner take all, silly.
Still, that doesn't explain why Hillary needs a produced *bio* ad to sell herself to her home state voters. Do you honestly think the Clinton Camp is happy about having to go into their pockets for an AR ad buy and make return visits to CA at this stage?

15. she needs the bio ad because of all of the years of distortion/dissing. Smart move on her part.

19. it's about delegates
She's trying to get over the magic number of 60% so she can take away delegates from Obama. If she doesn't get over 60%, Obama and her effectively split the delegates in each congressional district. It's a lot easier for her to mine delegates in places like Arkansas, New York, so she's doing that. It's smart.

21. California has 20% of the delegates offered on Super Tuesday
Edited on Sat Feb-02-08 10:36 AM by Herman Munster
It's a lot smarter to spend time there than to waste time in places like Idaho where Obama has gone.

24. be prepared for an Obama win in California the reason that she is
still here is that there has been a sizeable momentum shift here

http://rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/california/election_2008_california_democratic_presidential_primary

While it is true that 20% of the votes are here she is spending 70% of her time here. Also it is more of a question of how many media markets you can be in and she is just recycling the same ones over and over rather than going to the other 19 states.

Obama will hit 10 states in the same time she has been here trying to stave off a major disaster.

23. i guess same reason shes advertising in arkansas...
trying to get over the 60% hump for extra delegates...obama seems to be betting she cant get over the hump and is scrounging the country for places clinton may have overlooked or isnt pushing as hard for. It really is interesting politics.
