Hillary voted against the Anti-MoveOn res in Senate..What was Obamas vote again?
As for MoveOn.org, Clinton stood up for them in the Senate during the Petraeus kerfuffle. Barack Obama ducked that vote (just like he did Kyl-Lieberman). But MoveOn members endorsed Obama anyway. Yeah, that's the way to hold those politicians accountable. That'll show 'im..
what a bunch of phonies...

17. I'd like MoveOn to refund my donation
it wasn't much, but I support Hillary Clinton for President, not
Obama.

12. Well since one was just a mere state senator, he wasn't allowed to vote.
But, since he's been there, he's voted to fund it every chance he's had.

10. Another lying thread. Wow, you got a million of 'em.
It's a common rethug trick to take a "maybe" and turn into a "really". Just like you are trying to turn Obama's NON vote into a REAL vote against MoveOn.

Come clean now. These are just joke threads, right? Pure comical value?

15. Where was the lie?
I don't see it. The OP doesn't say that Obama voted against MoveOn... he says he ducked out and didn't vote, which is true.

22. Obama followed the John Kerry Route of Vote-Explanation
in voting for the resolution bnefore he voted against it.

Obama declined to vote on the actual resolution, showing his lack of a political spine. Moments earlier he had voted "yes" on a very similarly-worded condemnation of MoveOn, showing his true intentions.

14. Your outrage would mean more to me if you weren't a Hillary supporter
I think that's why I kinda like comments from Edwards supporters, or Kucinich. They have no dog in this hunt anymore, so I tend to take their outrage more seriously. If they say it sucks, it might just suck. When you say it sucks, I read it as "They didn't endorse MY candidate. Fuck em".

20. Well if it means anything, I'm an Edwards supporter, and I think this sucks.
They're heralding Obama as the "progressive candidate" that MoveOn members overwhelmingly support, and that's just not true.

I will say that I prefer Hillary over Obama, but I'm NOT a Hillary supporter. My preference is just that, a preference of one over another.

25. I don't either, I just find it kind of pitiful on their part
to support the candidate without the political will to even give a "yea" or nay" on the final MoveOn/Petraeus resolution, while voting "yea" on a different version moments before.

35. Moveon had an 8 h vote of less than 1/10% of their membership and decided
based on that to endorse Obama. Alienating a lot of their membership - some of them Edwards supporters, as he wasn't an option, some of them monthly donors who didn't even get to vote. they'll lose a lot of members over this move.
