That's a huge issue. And election reform. He's just so damned great. I could go on all day. :loveya:

And he's in town tomorrow, and I'm taking a day off to go see him in person!

3. Don't Waste Your Money. (I say this as a Kucitizen).
The race is over, Kerry has won the nomination. Why throw money away?

Dennis did an absolute wonderful job and got his message across to many people---and hopefully the DLC/DNC.

But, Kerry is our man...so....all aboard!!

So, by being told many times on a daily basis by many people on this board -- not to MENTION the whore media -- that we should stop supporting Kucinich is 'allowing it to continue in earnest'?!

Sorry, but to me it seems there has BEEN a backlash against the Kucinich campaign since day ONE.

19. Shoot, DR, you know what?
I'm ready to campaign like mad for him - even though I'm in Texas and normally even the DNC would write it off as a loss.

I figure if bush is ticking off this many repubs, it might actually be close! If it is, I'll be wearing Kerry EVERYTHING all over my body for MONTHS! I'll be out there telling republicans "hell, you think Kerry's a liberal? Sheeee-it, he ain't no liberal! I supported the liberal! Kerry's a moderate -- let me tell you why..."

I'm actually getting excited about Texas -- how strange is THAT?!

Bush is going DOWN - HARD! :)

32. 20 states HAVEN'T had their PRIMARIES yet!
Dennis has a chance to pick up more delegates for the convention, and I'm going to do all I can to facilitate that. I'm NOT "throwing my money away", I'm putting it to work supporting what I believe in.

I believe that our country won't be on the right track until the progressive message of social justice, peaceful resolution of conflict and people before profits becomes the norm. Kucinich carries MY message, and I'm going to do all I can to help him do it -- all the way to Boston!

15. bump for more bread
If you believe DK should go on pressurising Kerry into doing the right things for us, then please give him as much money TODAY as you can possibly afford (particularly up to $250, since that size donation will be fully matched).

DK has seemingly already almost got Kerry signed up for 'UN in, US out'. Who knows what more he can do with money and delegates?

Give him your money today and, if you've not voted yet, your vote in the primary.

Do it now, before it slips your mind.

16. Great idea - yes, do it NOW!

How horrible would that be? To wake up tomorrow and realize - DANG! - you forgot to donate to Kucinich's campaign. You could always donate then, but without the added bang of the matching funds.

If you're serious about getting the liberal agenda implemented, then please, donate today. It won't take long. And you'll feel better having made your contribution to the LIBERAL cause. :)

Remember, the country's not going to shift back to the left on its own, we need everyone who shares that goal to help with the pushing.

THANK YOU!!!!

22. Question?
Are they getting all the matching funds, or just .46 cents on the dollar? I ask because when I was on board, the FEC let it be known that they had 'screwed up' their accounting, that the Matching Funds fund was very low, and that campaigns were only getting .46 cents on the dollar of what they were owed. The shortfall was to be made up after April 15th. Did that change?

This was, by the way, huge. The departure of Clark and Edwards had a great deal to do with their primary scorecards, but also had a hell of a lot to do with the fact that they were going to get only half of what they were expecting from the FEC. The Kucinich campaign, by comparison, has been budgeting wisely.

At this point it is a waste of money to donate to Kucinich. Kerry needs the money much much more.

I don't consider that a "waste" at all. Kerry will manage just fine without my 20 bucks, methinks. Surely all the people who have jumped on the Kerry bandwagon are sending him their money, too?

Please know that I appreciate your voting for Kucinich's delegates, thank you! I'm going to continue donating to Dennis until ALL the states have had their primaries, because I'm hoping he can pick up still more delegates.

He represents ME in the Democratic party, he carries the message that I want the party to hear. I'm putting my money where my heart is, with absolutely no apology.

As far as I'm concerned, getting bush* out of the White House is just the BEGINNING of the battle. I consider my contributions to Kucinich to be part of the groundwork for the much larger struggle ahead.

Dennis Kucinich's liberal progressive message needs to be heard, for ALL of us...I support Kucinich, a FDR progressive liberal democrat, the writing has been on the wall for a couple of years it was going to be Kerry forced down our collective throats...fuck these blind assholes, who think they made the Kerry choice on their own.

Yes, Kerry is the nominee a moderate, and moderates stand for very little change, as the ongoing destruction of this country by the fascist republicans, Reagan, Pappy Bush for 12 years, moron Jr for 4 years and Clinton, a moderate, republican lite for 8 years...we are in desperate need of a huge turn around and changes in this country

Nothing has been done for the past 24 years to help the worker, via unions, Clinton was NOT and environmental president, all the recent republicans presidents have been even worst; Clinton, by supporting NAFTA (typical republican corporate ideology) has been a disaster for the workers of our country. President Clinton was always being accused by the republicans of “stealing” their ideas and philosophy, because he did. But he also put invoked tax increases on the wealthy. He was not a racist, a homophobe or anti-women as the republicans are, so they hated Clinton the moderate, republican lite.

And when a democrats like Clinton, does indeed create a positive, like getting rid of the deficit, leaving a surplus. The inevitable occurs, the next republican regime loots the surplus and diverts money form Social Security, shifts the tax revenue over to companies like General Electric and other military arms makers, the same companies that donate to the republican party.

Moderates admit wanting to only making small changes, they think things will be fine, if we just get Bush out of office. There has been so much damage done over the past 24 years...making little changes just makes it easier for the future republican presidents to continue deregulation for their corporate donors, continued industry polluting our air, water and land in the name of "creating jobs" cutting of social programs and education, in favor of massive corporate welfare and tax giveaways to the likes of oil companies for "exploration" and continued military build-ups that just benefit rich republican contributors and their stock holders.

We should not be moderate about our country becoming a low paying Wal Mart economy, corporate controlled, a massive military state, as it has been for over the past 24 years. We should be making drastic changes; the corporations should have NOTHING to do with our country's political system. WE the people should be ruling, dictating to corporatism, how it's going to be and what direction we want to take our country, we should be controlling this countries destiny not the fucking corporations and CEO's and the wealthy, as it is now.

But moderates want to make itty-bitty changes, in the image of their personalities, they fear big changes, are afraid of their own shadows.

As if I've ever given a shit what a moderate has to say to me...they are in the middle, afraid of real and necessary change..."oh just leave things basically as they are, we don't want to make too many changes" simply because we have fears of the unknown.

That’s not going to help us, not when we are now dealing with the BushCo fascist in power.
