Et Tu Edwarde
Ya know I don't post very often, as a matter of fact this is like the third time.
But when John Edward's dropped out yesterday it kinda blew my mind.
I think I'm the most politically discouraged I've been since pResident stole the election.

I donated to his campaign, a first for me.
I believed in his message and in him, another first.
I believed when he said he was in it for the long haul.

Ron Paul is still in. Still spreading his message.
Huckabee is still in. Still spreading his message.

The 2 craziest freaking Right wing yahoos' got more stones than
half the democratic field.

So I guess the message is, is that the right wing nut jobs got more fire in the belly
than the righteous or maybe self righteous.
Maybe thats why the country is in the state that its in, the crazies stick it out.

When ya get down to it he lied, didn't even stay in till super tuesday.
If you can't trust someone with genuine honest appeal like Edward's, who the hell
can ya trust. I guess our candidates can lie like the best of the Re-pugs.
Hooray we have bipartisanship at last.

On Tuesday I'm voting for Edward's anyway, why?
Cause he can kiss my ass, that's why. If he thought he was bringing
the party together, he thought wrong. If he did it to be attorney general, well good for HIM.

And I don't want to here any of that "you fall in love in the primaries" crap that
Randi Rhodes has been shoveling cause that just "honey on a dog turd".

Rant Off, off my chest at last.

5. No way! See my post, just below yours...
I think you might fit in that profile too.

This place is good for keeping an eye on things.

I can't tell you what to do, but if you duck out, duck back in after catching your breath!

2. Remember Dean...
Then I was for Kucinich, then Edwards... it's ok. I'm used to being in the minority. Being in the big crowd never held any special feelings for me. I don't like much mainstream music, or movies either. And I'm probably a lot further left than most people around these parts too.

7. I'm starting to worry they're going to just steal it again anyway.

And use the whole historic candidate thing as plausible deniability.

Yeah... I think I'll go catch my breath. Thanks.

9. I believe you are right...
I've felt that way all along. This is just a dog and pony show to keep our attention for a while. The right wing wants someone they can beat... I think that person is Hillary... Republicans will vote in droves to keep her out of the White House because they hate Bill so much. They need a good showing to cover their theft.

3. Suppose he suspended his campaign thinking that most of his supporters
would go to Obama and with that, Obama would be the nominee?

6. Don't blame him. He probably ran out of money.
When you are disappeared by the media to this extreme extent, it's hard to get your message out so it's doubly hard to raise any money -- it's a vicious circle. I'm disappointed, too, but I know (after going thru the same thing with Clark in '04) that when the media has decided you don't exist, and when what should be your base -- the labor unions in JE's case -- turn their back on you, it's nearly impossible to keep on keepin on.

8. Is it too late for Al Gore... Maybe they can get in together..
Gore/ Edwards and make a new damn party.. the Progressive Republic Party.. I know, this is the Dem Underground.. but can you imagine if we revolutionize and the Whigs and Torries go away into the night... I think this site may change its name to the PRP Underground... Its time to take the people who believe what Dem stands for.. Real Dem and lead again.. Fuck the DLC and what they've done to my party. this the the party that stands up for the UnderDogs, ie, us... Do you think Obama or Clinton is going to give us FDR policy that revolutionizes America? Obama wants us to just Hope it all gets better and Clinton is through and through DLC... She's more similar to Bush than we want to think.

10. Please, continue to support JE
There is something going on here that doesn't add up. Edwards said he was in for the long haul and then less than a week before Super Tuesday he "suspends" his campaign. He is being pressured, or something is going on behind the scenes. No way do I believe Edwards is pulling back on his own volition. He is too invested in taking his message to the people.

I am skeptical, jaded, and disillusioned. But there is one thing I still believe in. I believe in John Edwards. Stand by him a bit longer. We all have so much to lose if we don't.
