Sexist language.....
Ok, maybe it's just me, but there seems to be a rash of sexist language going around......Hillary's cake is baked? Estrogen factor? A HERD of women?

Usually I don't pay much attention but it's starting to seem very obvious.

1. I haven't seen any of those phrases used. Could you provide a link?
Edited on Thu Jan-31-08 05:28 PM by tekisui
edit to add:

I find that kind of language belittling and offensive.

2. I posted this in another thread..you reap what you sow..
Oh come on now..the Obama women have made talk like this OK now
by saying its OK to use against Hillary.
I have heard women for Obama call Hillary everything including a certain word that begins with "C" and rhymes with runt.
they titter and giggle with glee..until the same language they use against Hillary is used against them.
They participated in opening this can of worms..they deserve to live with it.

17. Then you weren't reading DU after the SC primary.
Edited on Thu Jan-31-08 05:44 PM by thecatburgler
Tons of Clinton supporters gloating about how little support Obama got from white voters, therefore SC wasn't important. Even though he got 24% of them and she came in second to Edwards in that group.

On edit: As for linking to them, that would require me to take too many people off ignore. Anyone who pulled that shit went on ignore. Just do a search of SC threads from last week. You'll find them.

26. I don't care what you think or what kind of denial you are in.
If you can excuse the behavior of the Clinton's and their surrogates these past few weeks there's really nothing I can say to you.

8. You get what you give.
You Hillarbots have been slinging the nastiest, stupidest memes imaginable about Obama.

Consider the give/get principle and spread the love to your cohorts.

16. "You sound like a child" - there you go again. I guess you don't learn
Are you getting it yet that name calling and insults aren't going to woo any Obama supporters over to your side?

But please, keep trying. This is very entertaining.

15. The only one of those phrases that could be REMOTELY construed as "sexist" is estrogen factor...
...the other ones don't even get laughingly close to that...

Someone needs to dial their flying-off-the-handle-for-no-adaquate-reason machine down a few thousand fucking percent....

Unreal...:eyes:

21. That's your opinion and you're entitled to it,
but I think you're wrong. We don't refer to male candidates as having a "cake baked" nor have I seen a group of men referred to as a herd.

to come chime in and say that they don't find the term bitch bothersome..or that its Ok for their boss to criticize the way they dress and cackle...or that she must be a lesbian if she is a strong woman..
Where..oh where..can they be?
