Obama get out the vote rally in San Francisco
Edited on Thu Jan-31-08 03:04 PM by Cant trust em
being at 9 a.m. on Saturday 2/2. Meet up at Evertt Middle School on Church St. at 16th. Word on the street is that John Kerry is giving the keynote address. I haven't been able to verify this because barackobama.com's servers are too busy with people donating right now.

GObama!

2. I ask you to remember... Getting out the vote....
Look at some of the ugly words spoken here, and look at how many of us have been told NOT to vote... that our ideas and values aren't wanted by the party.

Remember that, as you ask people to go vote... some of us have been hurt, and you may need to serve as healers.

4. Good advice
I always stay positive and don't get into the business of trashing other candidates.

7. bobbolink,
who told you not to vote? Your ideas and values are important as anyone's.

I am sorry that you encountered rudeness. I know you as an Edwards voter are struggling right now.

I have been through political disappointments so many times I can't count them. I know it hurts a lot.

I wrote this to another Edwards supporter yesterday:

it is so hard to lose your candidate. Candidates are our champions. We bond with them.
They ride out ahead of us. They say what we want said. They do what we want done.
They fight the battles we want to win.

Something deep responds in us, when we find a champion. It is a fusion that
is not put away easily. Nor should it be. You came to your decision to support
Edwards with thought and passion. Take your time to sort out your feelings.

And know that when your grieving is complete that you remain a proud citizen of
this country who cares about its future. That is attribute that no one can deny.

PS: I am very sorry about the flames.

bobbolink, this is true for you as well. Take care.

6. Is Donnie McClurkin the ex~gay homophobe, "stumping" fo him?
Will they be going to the Castro and telling the gays to pray their "life~style" away?
