Much like what he did for Bill Richardson in a debate once (whispered "Katrina" when Bill hadn't been following the moderator and was caught by surprise when the moderator turned to Bill and asked "what would you have done"). That gesture alone should tell everyone all they need to know about Obama. Nice guy. Obama could have let Bill twist in the wind or have to appear foolish by saying "could you repeat the question" or, even worse, whispered "9/11" to mislead Bill into making a bigger fool of himself. But he didn't. He did the right thing and helped out an opponent.
