1. Maybe he doesn't really like either of them
or maybe he likes them both.

2. The article I read said he might not even endorse AFTER -- so maybe it's
a deal where he will align with the "winner". That would be smart. Align with the one who will be in a position to help him achieve his goals. I hope that's it, because we DO need his voice.

3. I don't think he is that happy with the issues being covered
by either of them.

I think he could work with either of them so doesn't want to harm his relationship with the one he doesn't endorse.

4. He probably needs some time to think over and come to terms with the last 13 months

5. Because he and the party already know who the nominee is going to be.
He dropped out because it was determined that there would Not be a brokered convention for that reason.

He's not endorsing because this will become clear next Tuesday.

Take that however you wish.

6. I think its already planned he will endorse Obama, but......
Edited on Thu Jan-31-08 01:54 PM by DJ13
.......when he called both Obama and Hillary ahead of quitting he probably was asked by Hillary to not endorse until it was too late to help Obama on Feb 5th, and he agreed as a way of keeping himself in play should Hillary win the nomination and the WH.

9. From what I understand (from listening to pundits -lol)
is that he is undecided.

He likes that Obama is all about change, but he is closer to Hillary on healthcare and some of the other issues.

10. Likely because he doesn't want to tip the scales now

Let them duke it out on their own merits, and not on his name.
