Democrats use a proportional method. Each candidate is awarded a number of delegates in proportion to their support in the state caucuses or the number of primary votes they won.

For example, consider a state with 20 delegates at a democratic convention with three candidates. If candidate "A" received 70% of all caucus and primary votes, candidate "B" 20% and candidate "C" 10%, candidate "A" would get 14 delegates, candidate "B" would get 4 delegates and candidate "C" would get 2 delegates.

3. Isn't it kind of hard to have 'results' before something takes place?

4. If these polls hold, there won't be one clear winner on Tuesday.
Which I think favors Obama.

8. If nothing else...
I think we are trending towards several down to the wire races on Super Tuesday. It's a sharp contrast from a few weeks ago when it looked like Hillary was going to massacre Obama and take 20 out of 22 states.

9. if you look at the two polls in Georgia that are the only ones
taken after Edwards suspended his race it appears that is breaking heavy for Obama
