If Eco-policies are a priority for you, consider this
I have been undecided up to this point in the primary, so I have had to ask myself what my priorities are and then start to look very critically at the candidates' real positions on these policies.

Off-grid, a site devoted to people like me who are trying to leave the smallest footprint possible, endorsed Obama in New Hampshire.

Their summary of his positions in this area is as follows:

"Obama has promised to implement a market-based carbon trading system to cut carbon emissions 80% by 2050; invest $150 billion in biofuels and fuel infrastructure; accelerate commercialization of plug-in hybrids; invest in low-emissions coal plants; move toward a digital electricity grid."

"The Democrat from Illinois sees energy has one of ther three most important issues — together with health and welfare, and he has introduced or cosponsored nearly 100 eco-related bills on issues ranging from lead poisoning and mercury emissions to auto fuel economy and biofuels promotion. Along the way, he’s racked up a notable 96 percent rating from the League of Conservation Voters."

Whether you agree or not, this is a great site for anyone who wants to help change our environmental crisis by changing their own lifestyles.

4. Far, far less aggressive than what's needed,
Far more corporate than we can bear. Low emissions coal? Please, why not go for no emissions solar or wind? Carbon trading? Gee, shuffle pollution around the globe while fat cats make the money and no real net change occurs. What biofuels is he talking about? Ethanol? More stupidity if that's his answer. Rather we should be going for algae based biodiesel, and we should mandate that it be the only fuel for new vehicles within ten years.

Once again, like any corporate controlled politician, he is approaching this problem incrementally, rather than attacking it head on, which is what is needed.

Once again, Obama is simply showing us he is another corporate controlled candidate.
