I had a bit of an epiphany today. It's dawned on me that we aren't going to get change from elections. All we are going to get are the same pigs feeding at the trough. 14. the way I fight back

Ever since 2004 I realized we will never have a candidate for us, so I have been working on changing how I live and spend my money. Corporations that now own our government derive their power from the vast amounts of money they have. I have decided to opt out as much as possible and I think I still live a quality life. I make 80% of my purchases from very small American companies. I try to limit the money I spend on the things I don't have replaced yet, like gasoline and energy. I don't invest in any corporations. I invest in my own efforts. I trust myself more than Wall Street and at least I know what is really going on. I have informed companies and the media on a regular basis of what I am doing and I suggest all of you do the same. The more people who do this, the more effect it will have. An example: I joined a food co-op, eat only organic food, am enjoying much improved health(no illness of any kind for 7 years now, haven't missed one day of work, am 51 years old and take 0 medications). I fill my car once every 10 days and when it's gone I either take public transportation or don't drive anywhere. Now I know everyone might not be able to do that, but they can compromise in another area. I don't watch any corporate media and don't buy their products and I let them know why. I feel this is the only way to get our country back, especially now that it is obvious that they are pre-selecting our leaders now.

Also barter as much as you can so no money changes hands. Like if you are an accountant, do your doctors books for him in exchange for medical care. I look after my neighbor's dog and he helps me with yard work. He doesn't have to pay a dog sitter and I don't have to pay for yard help.
