ABC: "Obama Returns More Rezko-Linked Cash"
Obama needs to deal with the amateurs in his campaign. This should be out of the news cycle by now.

Obama Returns More Rezko-Linked Cash
Presidential Candidate Makes Another $72,000 Donation to Charity

The campaign of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama is donating to charity an additional $72,650 in contributions linked to Antoin "Tony" Rezko. The donations come after an ABCNews.com review found that the campaign had kept tens of thousands in contributions from Rezko's wife, family and employees of his businesses, despite claims made by Obama that the campaign had returned all contributions linked to the accused political fixer.

"Sen. Obama directed a further review of contributions made by family members and employees of Tony Rezko, and also by others who may have contributed through his efforts on behalf of the senator's 2004 Senate campaign," said Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton. "As a result, the campaign is today donating to charity $72,650, equal to the total amount of contributions made by Mr. Rezko's family members, employees of his companies and those whose contributions may be connected to the fundraiser at his home. By refunding these donations, the campaign has returned any and all funds that could be reasonably credited to Mr. Rezko's political support."

With the latest donations, Obama has returned a total of $149,985 in contributions from Rezko and his associates since Rezko was indicted on federal fraud charges in the fall of 2006.

1. It takes time to sort through all the donations and 6-degrees-of-Rezko links. Hillary
had the same problems with Hsu (only her problem was to the tune of $850,000)

were problem was more open and larger amounts and obama`s are smaller and the way rezko worked is that he funneled the money through different avenues so it is possible that obama did`t actually know where it came from.obama is`t the only intelligent person in chicago to get conned by this guy. if there was anything that would lead to a criminal charge his people would have been informed when fitzgerald had his case ready to go to trial....

yes hillary did a good job

Good luck with that comparison.

6. Exactly.
He still owes about $ 300,000 to charity for the discount on the mansion and the attached strip of land.

8. I already spoke with his office. The investigation is ongoing.
Obama has NOT been cleared of wrongdoing despite claims to the contrary.

Bill did for Jackson Stephens who bankrolled WalMart and brought BCCI into this country.

Rezko, of course, is just a local Chicago problem, and BCCI funded global terror networks and nuclear proliferation, but the similarities are almost EXACT, aren't they?

ROFL. But not really.
