Thank you, John Edwards!
I realize that I am very late to the party, and I'm sure that many great threads about John have been started today. This is the first time I have had access to a computer since I heard the news, so bear with me.

John Edwards was the heart of the 2008 race. He said what needed to be said after eight nighmarish years of this administration. He was the original change candidate, and, not only that, he spelled out what he would change. You never got the feeling with John that it would be business as usual if he won. That's exactly why he was hated and feared by the powerful.

I would like to formally thank him for his run, something he undertook during an extremely stressful personal crisis. Both he and Elizabeth sacrified their privacy and their comfort to try to bring change to this country. And it was not in vain. Both Hillary and Obama have borrowed his ideas. Even the Republicans are trying to sound populist, as pathetic as their efforts are.

So, thank you, John. And I, for one, will be influenced by your endorsement. So please endorse someone before February fifth.:dem: :dem: :dem: :dem: :dem: :dem:
