I'm sittin' pretty
Throughout this entire campaign, Clinton and Obama were my top two. I didn't know which to vote for: I liked them both very much.

The McClurkin thing soured me a bit on Obama, so I decided then to support Clinton. I still do - strongly. I've always liked and admired her, and I think she was by far the strongest fighter among all the candidates.

But whatever happens in this campaign, I'm gonna be happy with the results. Each candidate has their strengths and their vulnerabilities, and I imagine this site will fight over those for the next few weeks.

But I'm sittin' pretty. I'll be happier if Clinton wins, but I won't be in any way upset if Obama does.

I wish more people here understood that we have two great candidates - and whichever one we nominate will be our next President.

5. Making history. I am happy however it goes.
A Dem will win.

MF, no offense, but you seem downright pleasant lately.

14. Hey! I feel that way
I suspect that outside DU and the blogosphere, more Obama supporterss do as well, but they don't post inflammatory comments on the Internets 14 hours/day. More than anything I just happen to think Obama has an edge in the GE (yes, we could debate this for an hour or two), but I think she would make a great president, generally speaking.

:-)

10. Another good post
Wandering in GD: Primaries sometimes reminds me of an online "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". It's nice to see some sane posts around here.

Thanks for putting things in perspective.

13. I'm still there myself. It still feels like the Publishers Clearinghouse sweepstakes.
"You may already be a winner."

Either way, we win. Either way, we make history, for our party, for our country, for the world. Either the first woman president or the first black president. I hate to use one of the latest cliches but - "at the end of the day," we win. Hey - could be worse. We could be forced to choose between mccain and romney.

:scared: :puke:

16. I'm happy for you.
The really good news? All those DK, JB and JE folks, who can't stand either HRC or BO, can now distance themselves from the fray and spend their time promoting Democrats running in their local, state, Congressional and Senate races against currently sitting Repukes and DINOs.

THAT's the kind of base we need to build before we can make the Republics irrelevant and begin to reverse the damage eight years of DickieGeorge has done to U.S..
