2. Good Idea For A Poll
I wonder whom Edwards supporters will turn to.

I'd guess Obama. But it's just a guess.

8. On this board, probably Obama. However, in the real world I think they're predicted to go
to Hillary 40% and Obama 25%.

Not sure where the other 35% goes.

36. I don't think these polls are accurate
I think there are more Obama supporters on DU then Hillary but it doesn't seem to reflect RL.

11. Obama
Started off teetering between him and Edwards, then I looked around, and eventually ended up undecided between the two again. With Edwards out now, its Obama all the way for me.

15. Obama leading in this poll is good news for Hillary
Kucinich led in polls here until he dropped out, then it was Edwards, next up- Obama.

DU doesn't represent the whole D party.

16. Nope, sadly, just the part that knows what's going on.
That's why the most qualified candidates
are eliminated, one by one, until only
the unelectable one is left.

Go dems!

27. Why do you want a candidate to the RIGHT of people at DU?
Our views on most issues have MAJORITY SUPPORT in the polls. It isn't a conservative country any more, people. We don't need to nominate candidates who act like our values are a disgrace. And we don't need the votes of obsessive Sixties-haters, either. They AREN'T the majority.

33. obama and edwards have always beat the shit out of clinton
in any DU poll...she has loud, but minority support here.

i don't think she'll ever crack 30% in a two way race on DU...with edwards in the mix clinton was almost always single digits.

DU doesn't like the status quo....period.

39. How about-- don't everyone start yelling -this is just an idea-- BOTH? Clinton-Obama???
Think about it for a minute- put aside your immediate emotional responses. A Clinton - Obama ticket (if she would have him and he would take VP) with Edwards as Attorney General and Wes Clarke as Sec. of State? I know it sounds nuts but- we all (or most of us anyway)know in our hearts that Hillary would be an excellent President- even if she's not our first or second choice and we will work for whomever we wind up with because we will.

After 8 years, Obama would still be young (in his 50's) and he'd be in place to takeover and we'd get another 8 years of progressive politics. I was hoping frankly, for a Gore - Obama ticket or Edwards Obama but- this might be the only way we can beat McCain.

I haven't had my coffee yet so don't everyone start screaming at me at once please.
