another 250. No eating out, no vacation this year. All that money goes to Kerry and whoever is running against DeLay.

The first contribution I ever made was to Gore - 50 bucks. Then to our governor Jennifer Granholm - 100 bucks. I thought that was a big deal.

We have to sacrifice whatever we can to get rid of these loonies in our government.

We're doing without the fun stuff. When we hit the max for Kerry then we're giving more to MoveOn.

7. Always gave locally but not on the national level

My first national level contribution was also to Gore, then Dean this year. Next week when some expected money rolls in I will give to Kerry and keep doing it as often as I can. There is too much at stake.

One statistic that is often overlooked by the pundits is the fact that the 9 candidates for the Democratic nomination raised more money than the Bush campaign for the same period. Yes, most has been spent, but the fact remains that we do have the ability to raise enormous amounts, and now that there is one, count'em, one campaign for everyone who is serious about beating Bush to donate to, we have NO LIMITS!
