Did anyone else think it was B.S. when they declared McCain dead?
back last summer when he had some fundraising setbacks, the pundits were nearly unanimous that he had zero chance.

Was I a sage, or was I an idiot-savant, or jsut a lucky guesser when I thought, isn't it a little early? Isn't he still a really well-known politican that's on TV constantly and is fairly well liked? Isn't his opposition mainly from RW nutjobs that think he's a freaking liberal?

1. I dunno. We may see another Huckabee win
They're really undecided.

2. I, for one, had counted him out. Hopefully Mitt is now on the skids
One down, one to go.

3. I knew he wouldn't quit, like some were predicting--you don't survive
the POW experience he did by being anything but a tenacious bastard.

5. Actually, I am a bit surprised he was able to recover
I think he's been helped by (1)Giuliani's and THompson's total collapse and (2) Huckabee's success. In fact, if Huckabee dropped out, I think Romney would get a boost in the polls.

8. Always thought McCain would get the nod
I never believed the pundits. Freakin morons. McCain spent the last 8 years kissing every establishment ass he could find. He's willing to sell his soul for the rethuglican nomination and that is the number one prerequisite to become the establishment candidate.
