Kerry reaches out in Florida

I was watching MSNBC (yeah, I know, I know!), and I saw a clip of John Kerry, at a rally in Florida today.

This man is not going to leave anything to chance, folks!

The clip I saw showed Sen. Kerry reaching out to Republican and independent voters.

He talked of how they share a number of things in common, and contrasted those commonalities to the actions of the Bush administration.

He touched on how John Ashcroft has overstepped his bounds, concerning the rights of Americans, and how the Solicitor General has tried to rein him in.

He talked about how environmental issues matter to all Americans, and contrasted those interests to how the Bush Administration has rolled back clean air and clean water laws to benefit a few corporations.

He touched on other issues also, but his theme was a mutual interest in a number of issues that all Americans share; issues that this current administration is either ambivilant on, or counter to our nation's interest.

This man is a fighter. Don't be surprised if we take a few red states when the smoke clears!
