He seems the most balanced and progressive of all the candidates.

Chicago Sun-Times: "'Principled decision favors Obama'
Obama, meanwhile, hasn't taken anyone for a ride -- to Canada or anywhere else. He's stayed home, toiling in the Illinois General Assembly since 1997, seeking legislative solutions to problems such as health care, education and job loss. Last year alone, he sponsored 26 bills that passed the Legislature, including bills that required insurance companies to pay for colorectal cancer screening and expanded government-paid health insurance for poor children and working poor families"

5. Yeah, I don't get it either...
On the other hand...

The Sun-Times AND the Trib endosed Obama. Also, Trib columnist Eric Zorn calls Obama (assuming 8 yrs in the Senate) a possibility for 1st black President in 2012.

He's the real deal folks...

7. I like Obama, and am leaning toward him, atm...
It's a tossup between him and Hynes. If I had to vote today, I'd vote for Obama. :)

3. At least Hull won't get the nomination
After his incident with his wife, it would be stupid to nominate him against one of the few vulenerable seats on the Repug side.

9. Did you hear how Hull made his money? I was shocked!
One of the St. Louis stations did a special segment on him and they said and he admitted he made his money by counting cards in Vegas, otherwords, cheating/semi-cheating. He did that long enough to buy a seat on the stock exchange and started his investing business. It just seems an odd way to get your start...

8. O'Bama
I liked this from the Herald column by Burt Constble:

Then I would add a simple apostrophe to his last name. By going with "O'Bama," the Harvard-educated, Christian husband and father could garner the Irish vote, and appeal to transplanted southerners.

The ONLY negative for this guy is his name.
