We would have biden, gravel and kucinich talking about issues that mattered right now goddammit. We would have an actual conversation about how to win the democratic agenda. We would not be squabbling over little details about band aid programs that do not address the core problems. Unless the elected candidate from the democratic side (lord help us if a republican wins) does not

*get rid of for profit health care

*order and immediate with drawl of military force from the middle east region and get it set up with a real peace keeping multilateral effort

*outright reject that disastrous policies of nafta, cafta and any agreement that allows foreign companies to import items without tariffs

*start rebuilding our infrastructure preferably with a much greener feel to it.

all of these are democratic ideals, I know of one candidate still in the race that is for any of those although his record says otherwise, the other two piddle on details for these plans but assure america they will take care of it.

these are the democratic ideals that are candidates should be striving for. Yet I see them struggling against them. What are we to do.

This is in regards to a poll i posted earlier. Someone suggested instead of a poll I should just write an Op expressing my viewpoint about where this primary is going.

1. I know one who has the record and the plans
And if we were honestly talking about issues and people were accountable, Obama would have been the runaway candidate months ago.

Plans:

2. Kick and Recommend
This is what you should have posted to begin with. Thank God or whoever that the poll was locked.
