that would be a whole new ball game, but people vote on the presidential candidate, not the VP.

21. No way in hell. I don't know about the other states, but here in
California, roughly 20-25% of Democrats are going to vote for McCain if Hillary is the Demo candidate. And the Independents are like 85% for McCain.

and I think that people who don't support John Edwards may be considered to be "idiots."

Now what? Quite frankly, I dislike Obama less than Hilary. So I hope he gets the nod if JE can't. I have a right to think differently than you.

The bottom line is that I will vote for the Dem, who ever gets the nom, over the Repub. That doesn't mean I have to "unite" behind someone I don't like in the primary. Remember, we live in a 'democracy' or so we say...

McCain in the White House. I'm an Independent, but until last year I was a Democrat. I have always voted for Democrats. November will be my first time voting for a Republican if Hillary is the Dem nominee.

22. If, by saying "That is all." you really mean you have no evidence
or no polls, or no empirical data of any kind to support your nonsense. All polls up to this point have indicated Hillary will beat any GOP candidate by more than Obama or Edwards.

Those are facts. And that, ridiculously misinformed poster, is all.

In Iraq, President Bush talked about the success of the surge. The Administration brandishes many numbers. The one I'm most focused on is that 2007 was the deadliest year for U.S. troops in Iraq. And the humanitarian situation remains devastating.

Democrats just aren't very smart. Their best candidate was also the candidate with the best chance of winning in the general election and that was Joe Biden. The Democrats have lost their way just like the Republicans.

52. Yep, that's why my vote is going to Edwards in CA....
I truly believe that only the Democrats could manage after 8 years of Crud and destruction from Bush/Cheney, to lose the '08 election to a Republican, but they will do it if the nominee is either Obama or Hillary. I know there are those that disagree, but call it intuition, and at this point I feel nauseated, because I think the decision was made a long time ago by the higher powers be that it was going to be McCain and Clinton, with McCain the victor.

54. I don't think there is that much difference on most issues between establishment condidates from
either party. Major issues such as Trade policy, our trade relationship with China (especially) are not being addressed in any detail because all of them will act pretty much the same.

"The Democrats have lost their way just like the Republicans."

The mistake is in thinking that there are 2 parties. We get globalist candidates from both parties, so what is the difference besides presentation and some small social policy things to keep people divided?

Obama can carry multiple states that are not even in play with Billary.

He can win versus McCain - where Hillary - who has taken more money from lobbyists than any other candidates - she would be a joke up against McCain the champion of Ethics and Campaign Finance Reform.

Heck the world series will be played before the 2008 election so you should be even more clear about that outcome than you are about an election that is 10 months away.
