Excerpts from Kerry's victory speech
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/3528649.stm

I believe that in 2004, one united Democratic Party, we can and we will win this election. And we will build one America of freedom and of fairness for all...

We will renew our alliances and build new alliances because they are essential to the final victory and success of the war on terror. The Bush administration has run the most inept, reckless, arrogant and ideological foreign policy in the modern history of our country and we will reverse that course.

This president has said again and again that he wants to run on national security. Well, if George Bush wants to make national security the central issue of the campaign of 2004, I have three words for him, that I know he understands - bring it on.

This campaign is about the big issues and the great challenges that we face as a nation. It is about our generation's opportunity to step up and to follow in the footsteps of the greatest generation and all those who have defined the history of our nation. Our opponents can't campaign on jobs or health care or fiscal responsibility.

2. What I like is Kerry seems to be telling the chimp
we can run this election on whatever issue you want, I will rake you over the coals. You want to run on national security? Fine, I will point out how your go it alone approach has damaged this country to the point we will need a generation to fix it. You want to run on the wedge issue? Fine, I will point out how you are unable to run on your own record so must resort to a culture war. You want to run on the economy? Fine, I will point out the jobs that have been lost and the lack of jobs you have created to make up for the loss. You want to run on tax cuts? Fine, lets point out how the tax cuts have caused the current budget deficits and now we must talk about cutting social security benefits to make up for the loss of revenue.

I think Kerry is giving the chimp the bat to beat himself with.

4. Local radio idiot
here in Hosuton was trying to mock Kerry this morning. He kept repeating his "bring it on" part of the speech in a goofy voice as if that makes it a bad speech suddenly. And then they say dems are childish!
