Primaries are pretty much decided and time to get on board the train that will lead us to a White House victory this November.

Good Luck John, I'm on your team!!!

2. Very admirable
I'm not at that point yet (volunteering for him), but I do support Kerry's candidacy now that he's the nominee apparent.

20. Did the pod people get to me?

Seriously, I always said I'd support the nominee. This election is just too important not at least vote for the Democratic nominee.

As far as volunteering for Kerry: I doubt that will happen. Not because of sour grapes, but because the Dean Meetup I co-host wants to continue on as a Progressive Meetup. So I'll be busy with that, and hopefully it will contribute in some way to re-defeat Bush in November.

3. Good for you, Lynne
I don't feel quite able to do that yet, so I've signed up to volunteer for Russ Feingold in the meantime. I think that will give me a bit of a break after Clark, and then, hopefully in the next couple of months, I'll feel more ready to dive in for Kerry.

I'm hosting one last House Party for Clark this Friday, so that means writing one more check to him, and then perhaps I'll feel more ready to close the door on that chapter.

VOTER TURNOUT VOTER TURNOUT VOTER TURNOUT for all of you who don't feel quite ready to jump on the Kerry bandwagon, committing yourself to increasing voter turnout and getting Democrats registered is another great way to focus your energies in a useful way.

I'm hoping that within a short time, we'll all have come around to Lynne's way of thinking and be able to jump in whole hog. We'll need each and every mind, hand and dollar working on this election.

Wes Clark Democrats

Excuse me, Vote_Clark, gotta get it in everywhere, but we did put Russ Feingold up the other day. :)

Good for you, Lynne! :bounce:

forgetful, but feel free to give me a smack upside the head whenever I need it! (I guess that's more like a poke in the brain)

Here, how's this?

Thanks! :yourock:

6. This avid Dean supporter will be supporting John Kerry for President
Hope you won't mind my using the Dean Avatar; because I still love Howard Dean. However, I'll be just as loyal to John Kerry's campaign as I've been to Dean's. I'm very proud of John Kerry, and really believe he will make a fine President for our country. He has really fought a good fight against the Bush machine. We were blessed with the finest candidates that I can ever remember, and I'm "old".

:toast:  :dem:

17. I got too tired of the badmouthing in GD2004
Figured I'll get back in here once the nominee was on board because believe me, I'm not going to put up with folks who are opposed to Kerry.

but since I'm still a Dean supporter I feel the need to be flogged by those who supported Kerry the whole time. We must be purified.

22. Not so easy since it feels like selling our souls.....
I won't be volunteering or rah-rah-ing for Kerry, but I WILL do my part to get Bush out in November.

My part?

VOTER REGISTRATION. We'll be working hard to register new US citizens and Latinos here in Texas. Then we're going to ram it up Bush's you-know-what come November.

Eat that.

21. I might, eventually
I imagine that Kerry's real-life supporters aren't near as bad as those few on DU that have really turned me off of him.

And also assuming, of course, that former Dean supporters are welcome to come back, and not viewed as lower life forms.
