If you really want FL and MI to count
you should encourage them to set up another primary or caucus later in the spring, so that candidates can formally campaign there and set up organizations there. The DNC should at least help pay for it.

That way we can avoid an awkward scene at the convention and get an accurate count of who everyone in those states support, after having full access to the candidates.

2. Maybe NH and Iowa's times are past
and we should have the first primary and caucuses in Pennsylvania, Florida and Wisconsin

3. So people who live there should get that going!
It's not up to us, unfortunately. But they can band together and override the assholes running their state party mechanisms.

It's a Democracy still; even in Florida.

4. I do agree. But it is ashamed that the state party can effect so many people's voice!

5. They could also vote by mail.

If they vote by mail, the DNC should pick up half the cost.

6. That was the DNC's suggested compromise for Florida. The DNC even offered to pay for it.
the State Party said no; it would be too hard to organize.

8. That's right.
That was the offer. I don't know if it was final or negotiable.
