30. Maybe The One Where A Poster Said She Was Corrupt
Maybe the one where a poster implied she endorsed Hillary because Bill gave her husband a job

or

Maybe the several posters who suggested she was insignificant...

34. That poster was also generally appreciative of her, and repeated it was a good endorsement.
As for the "insignificant" claim--well, saying "that isn't a major endorsement" is a valid reply when you claim a Representative is a major endorsement.

39. Life Is Too Short To Quibble About Semantics
I'll pick out one poster...

One poster implied she was insignificant not that the endorsement was...Without knowing the poster I would suspect Ms. Waters' accomplishments were certainly greater than his own...

I have to work to do... There is a record:

of responses from the Obama camp were completely positive?

It seems like you're trying to draw a false equivalence between the embarrassing savaging of Teddy Kennedy and John Kerry and the overwhelmingly classy responses to the Waters endorsement.

I hear what you're saying, but I do think there's been some jag-offs on both sides of this, especially in regard to trashing supporters and endorsers of the other side.

She is not the most ethical congressperson, though. Sorry if you cannot stand the truth.

-She's corrupt

-She' bought which I guess is another way of saying she's corrupt

-She's insignificant

but that isn't a diss of Waters; it was a quibble over its importance.

25. I only saw one. link here
In another thread, one poster implied that the endorsement might be payback for some favor done by the Clintons for Waters' husband and suggested that Waters (who the poster claimed to admire) wasn't
"the most ethical congresswoman." Not terribly nice, but the only one, so I think the OP may be a bit overheated insofar as it suggests multiple Obama supporters have been dissing Waters.

31. I never posted the part concerning the favor. Do not even know it it is true.
For the rest, I admire Waters for what she did against the war. It does not change the rest, though I erased it because I was tired of people trying to turn my honest opinion against Obama.

42. No, that explains the historical relationship
They've been friends for a long time, like Hillary and Kathleen Kennedy have been friends a long time. Doesn't mean Kathleen is expecting any favors from Hillary, it just explains the context of the endorsement.

37. The irony is that you're posting this thread-
considering the behavior of people yesterday and the the day before about those who have endorsed Obama. And didn't you make a few less than flattering comments yourself and even start a thread?

That's the irony. Obama supporters have overwhelmingly been polite and congratulatory about this endorsement. What you should have posted is an OP noting that- or nothing at all. It just looks sadly hypocritical of you.

45. Au Contraire
Given my avatar I would have to be a moron to disrespect Ted Kennedy...All I have said and will say is that I would have hoped he remained neutral and I was disappointed by the endorsement...

I did not comment on any of the other endorsements...

The only "bashing" threads I started was to correct the record on Ronald Reagan...
