Is Ted Kennedy
now the enemy? I know John Kerry with his liberal voting record is consistently trashed here but I had no idea Ted Kennedy was held in such low esteem by so many "Democrats". How long has this been going on? Better yet, do voting records, and actions taken to promote social equality in every phase of American life matter anymore?

1. Teddy has cast more votes than any Senator in history, and has the
most reliably Liberal voting record.

I don't understand those who slight him here.

2. "How long has this been going on..."
Since he the rumors of him endorsing Obama started. And they all fell off the bus when it came true.

3. He was almost universally respected here -- until yesterday
The one Senator that could almost always be counted on to support liberal and progressive positions -- and to actually stand up and fight for them -- is Ted Kennedy.

But now that he has chosen to endorse Obama, all that is forgotten by some partisans of another candidate.

Can you spell F-I-c-k-l-e?

5. I like Teddy fine
I would like him no matter who he endorsed. I am glad that he endorsed the candidate I support. I am honored to have both Ted Kennedy and John Kerry representing my state in the US Senate. And endorsements have nothing to do with that. They are both :patriot:
