What are you afraid of Mr. President?
Bill Clinton is willing to meet with the full commission and meet for as long as they need him. Why isn't George Bush willing to do the same? What's he afraid of?

3. He's afraid someone will ask him

Why did you just sit on your hands, while America was under a terrorist attack?

4. afraid his betrayal of this country will come out
imagine Bush under oath, before the entire committee, for the same amount of time Clinton had to spend testifying under oath about Lewinsky, etc...

That is what must happen.

If it doesn't the Dems should throw this in his face, make a HUGE issue of it, MoveOn should run ads asking what he's hiding, etc....

If he's innocent, why is he resisting this?

6. Just as Reagan could not honestly remember
Boy was THAT credible and proven true. Just as Reagan could not, so Bush would totally bungle a no limits grilling. Even if he did nothing legally wrong(a stretch in my book) it would likely be ruinous, evasive and incoherent. Cheney's heart really might give out.

That was an essential part of their job qualifications for responsibility ducking figureheads.

5. That should read...
"What are you afraid of Mr. Governor?" The man was not elected. He was selected by our RW SCOTUS.
