Well, looks like the Governator won again...
both of his proposals passed...
This is probably going to cause major cuts. I hope the courts find a way to step in and nullify one (or BOTH) of these things..

I doubt it will cause major cuts, in fact the entire point of the bond measures was so there wouldn't be the need for MORE cuts. I voted against them anyways becuase I think it's irresponsible to pass the debt onto the future generation of taxpayers and politicians.

2. the other proposition..
would have made it easier for them to raise revenues, with just a 55% majority...it failed also.. If you ask me, it should be a 50.01% majority.. Let the legislators decide...and let the people select the legislators. Why have a super majority?? It just makes things worse.

god knows why it failed by such a huge margin. I guess California is just content with gridlock.
