2. The 28% are the same 28% who approve of Bush
So I would say the 20% positive is pretty good for Obama.

4. And that would be the poll on Lou Dobbs' website
which probably does not attract a very representative sampling of voters.

12. 50% said it made no difference.
28% said it had a negative effect.

50 + 28 = 78 Not in the 90's but up there.

This internet poll doesn't mean much, obviously, but a lot of people who watch his show respond to it.

14. No I agree
I'm not a regular viewer of Lou Dobbs, but the few times I've watched it's some lame question like "Should the federal government do more on securing the border" where 97% say yes. This is actually a decent and interesting poll, thanks for sharing it. :)

13. Darn straight. I don't care what or who endorses ANY of the
candidates. Any intelligent person SHOULD THINK THEY KNOW WHICH CANDIDATE IS BEST..Are they to be so easily influenced by a know nothing politican, governor, etc.

17. Only a small percentage of the population will be influenced by this
The poll means nothing. It includes rethugs. The folks who will take Kennedy's endorsement into account are some progressives and with that group it definitely helps him. It will sway some undecided progressives. Some, not anywhere near a big majority. It definitely is a plus for Obama, though.

19. Really, aside from all the issues, I don't think any endorsement means much this late
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 10:26 PM by ShaneGR
The vast majority of people have already made up their mind who they're voting for. Endorsements are more powerful on the local level imo, mayors, unions, etc.

They have no meaning whatsoever.
