How 'Bout This ??? --- Most Of Us Will Promise To Support Kerry If...
Edited on Wed Mar-03-04 12:42 AM by WillyT
HE promises to stop using the 'Bring It On' sound byte over and over and over and over and..........

Please??? Pretty Please???

On edit: In case this is being misunderstood, this was my attempted olive branch (using humor), to Kerry supporters as to MY (not necessarily anyone else's) coming to grips with supporting Kerry in the GE.

Don't want to, didn't plan to, cause anymore damage here. Just wanted to gtive a last good ribbing or two, on my way to the destruction of George W. Bush... By way of Kerry, of course, LOL!!!

And I REALLY MEAN THIS, DAMMIT!!!

Geeze, some people are SO sensitive!

9. Me too
Plus every time he says it, it's a reminder of what kind of idiot we're trying to unseat. Nothing like throwing it back in their faces.

14. Mock value?
You can't be serious.
I hardly think this heinous taunt from Bush is something to mock or to be used by a Democratic candidate as a campaign mantra.

But, then again, he is a Botox addict.

No conditions. Vote for Bush if you want.

18. I don't like to generalize
But Kerry folks seem a tad touchy tonight. Don't know what to make of it. Maybe they really thought the anti-Kerry threads would stop now, before Skinner actually announced the imposition of the new rules. No-go. If it where anyone; Clark, Dean, Edwards, people would be getting in their last licks. That's DU for ya. ;)

I think they just have to accept that a lot of folks here will vote for Kerry in the GE, but they will never, ever, do it happily. What does it matter, anyway? A vote is a vote.

11. It isn't over yet is it? The media says so but what about
Edited on Wed Mar-03-04 12:32 AM by mac2
the rest of the states? Why should I even bother to vote when they have chosen who will win? Who the candidates will be, etc.?

1% for a Progressive agenda? Boy are Americans out of the loop regarding the issues of war, trade, etc. They'll be sorry just like when they elected Bush. Or did we do any of this?

I made get out the vote phone calls and most people had no idea of the issues...even after all this time.

17. The media haven't decided its over
The voters have. You may disagree with them, but the media prolonged the horse race far longer than they should have. In the end, Kerry's won all but three primaries and done so by ever-increasing margins. Kerry is a real Progressive, he's also the inevitable Democratic nominee, and he'll be the 44th President of the United States.

15. I find "And I pledge to you..." more nerve plucking.
"Bring it on" is more like "America Rocks" - simply not aimed at my demographic, but must please some others.

Does any demographic really enjoy "And I pledge to you..."?
