George's Throne... Who Will Be King?
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 03:09 PM by allinktup
Hillary, Obama, Edwards... they are all politicians.

While I have no doubt that they all initially got into politics to serve the public, it cannot be forgotten that at some point, regardless of the politician, it became to be more about "them," and not so much about us.

Name me a politician and I'll give you a scandal. None of them have porcelain fingers. They've all gotten a bit dirty; some more than others, but make no mistake about it. None of them squeak.

Why else would you want George's Throne? It's about the power and prestige that comes with being the leader of the free world as we know it. They are not running for selfless reasons, as there is in fact no such thing as a selfless deed. They are human.

They are imperfect human beings, as we all are. So while we dig and prod and post and find dirt on each other's candidates, let us not forget that each of our own has done their fair share of dirty work.

What we need to focus on now, more than ever, is choosing a President... not a King or Queen to take over the throne. We already had one of those.. it didn't work out too well.

2. I'm voting Edwards
I can't go against my conscience.

Clinton and Obama would equal more of the same, in my mind's eye, and in my gut.

6. No, Edwards. "Hillary, Obama, Barack... they are all politicians."
You missed Edwards. :)
