I wonder if any of them would have the guts to do that?

I also wonder how many times Bush's speech will be interrupted by applause.
My guess is...none?

1. I hate to tell you this...
...but the Democrats will be there. And there will be applause.

I just hope there's a little heckling mixed in, but I don't think Fancy Nancy would be too happy about it.

8. Do you think the Dems have anything creative planned for tonight at all?
I know, I'm hoping for the moon.

6. Yes, a little bit of well timed hooting and hollering would put him on the spot
and silence during key parts of his speech.

7. Well, I'm gonna be watching and taking names...
any Democrat that applauds even once - not a penny from me, ever.
They should all come in wearing mittens!!

P.S. Great smilies (although that term hardly applies to the "moon" shot).

11. Wouldn't it be awesome if none of the Democrats continued to enable Bush and his corporate masters
in their tightening grip of fascism?

I'm not holding my breath on that one.

14. no it wouldn't
because most people want their elected representatives to act like grown-ups.

Congress has unanimously passed a concurrent resolution calling tonight's joint session for the purpose of receiving whatever message chimpy will deliver. That's how it works. Its not nanny-nanny boo boo.

16. Excuse me for postulating in a manner with which you disagree.
I am humbled by your wizened words of censure.

I'll bet you like Peake Freen cookies, don't you?
