Come on Barack supporters we've got work to do
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 01:49 AM by cooolandrew
The name of the game of life is inspiration. Once you are ignited and moved by someone the next thing is to do is act. If you loved his speech in SC and it spoke to you, it's time we turn it into action. Let's make up stickers plaster them in all random place. Go door to door. America is going to the next level of all it can be and we've got to take it to the streets going door to door with the enthusiasm he inspires in you. Make CDs of his postions from you tube do whatever you feel you have to do to get this once in a lifetime candidate where he needs to be.

Obama train rolling next stop DC.

..you never know the knock on effect of campaigning in one state may get passed on by relative to other folks around the country who can vote February. Mostly whatever you can do, do do.

That sounds good. Litter for Obama.

I know I'm always deeply moved by crap I see plastered on telephone poles & bus stop benches.

14. So let me see if I get this right.
If I see Obama's name a whole bunch of times 'plastered everywhere', when I get my ballot I'm going to vote for him because I recognize his name? Is that it? I don't have to know a thing about his postions on real life & death issues, I just have to recognize his name?

I don't think people that stupid should vote.

4. ...
I don't want to go back to the past, I want to go to the future. Obama's message resonates with me. The Clintons had alot of achievments and I'll give them that, but I remember alot of divisiveness and fighting. I just want to move forward.

6. About that...
I spent most of today trying to make three programs work to make cd's of his speeches from youtube. I could get none of them to work. I now have a bunch of megabytes of programs on my box that don't work, at least not for me, and still need to get his speeches to my friends in California who don't do youtube vids. How do you do that youtube to cd's thing?

Also, proud to rec this thread. It is about what we can do now. Thanks for that.

7. why not just record the audio instead of video feeds
I think a lot of bandwidth is wasted on video files anyway. One way to do this is to record the sound from the video and transfer it as a RealAudio or MP3 files on a CD. You can use CoolEdit to do this. What I usually do is to make a master copy on a cassette recorder and input the sound into my computer microphone jack, and then I can edit the digital files in CoolEdit. Then you can burn the files on CD.
