Edited on Sun Jan-27-08 08:24 PM by Proud2BAmurkin
RFK was the best representative of liberal ideas. If I was going to vote based on an endorsement of someone's relative it would be for Clinton since the RFK Jr endorsement is the most valuable.

I probably wouldn't vote based on anyone's endorsement unless the candidates were the same and maybe it was JFK's or RFK's direct endorsement.

Limited comparisons to a deceased politician are completely different from postmortem declarations of proxy endorsement.

Unless I've missed some sort of "JFK WANTS YOU TO VOTE FOR OBAMA" business.

Especially if he threw a "Super 70's Night" fundraiser for him.

13. So you'd weigh the preference of a dead man's son in making your decision?
I don't consider endorsements at all when making a decision. I could almost understand people who consider the endorsements from people they respect, but the endorsement of the son of a dead man???

You are getting very negative responses to your comments about the Kennedys--from fellow Democrats. Think about it, please.

30. Especially since the Clinton social policies were a total repudiation of RFK's concern for the poor.
The answer was jobs programs, not punishing poor women for accepting benefits they were entitled to and had no alternative but to use. And disowning the poor didn't even gain us any votes in '92 or '96.
